Happy New Year, UCSRT! It has been exciting to see the overwhelming number of people who have been joining the Consortium over the past month. As we enter the final stages of Dialogues' development, leading up to the official launch in the latter part of February, exciting new features have been developed.
First off, the WORKING GROUPS! Click on the "Working Groups" tab in the menu at the top of your page, and start you own group, or join a currently existing working group. Work collaboratively with people from coast to coast to develop projects, write and edit papers, plan conferences, exchange thoughts on a sexuality topic you're passionate about, and more! Contact me with any questions you have about this feature.
Next, we have a host of functions that have been created and will be available to you soon to make your Consortium experience enjoyable and valuable to your work. For example, email digests. You can choose how often you want an email alert regarding a message that is waiting for you in your profile, or a colleague request, or site activity regarding your working groups and discussion forums.
2007 is sure to be an important and exhilarating year for the field of sexuality. The Consortium - and its online platform, Dialogues - are proud to support the field of sexuality in its advancement. Happy New Year!
