heart, money and brain....

thanks for posting this ruslan, it is one of the best (most succinct) presentations i have seen in a long time. prevention and not just drug treatment....it seems so very obvious and simple and yet for so many reasons (poverty, social and structural inequalities-racism, sexism, heterosexism etc.., greed, the promotion of sexual ignorance, the tolerance of religious arrogance and fascism) this message continues to be ignored...even, unfortunately many times by experts/organizations within our own field. a proactive, offensive approach to treatment requires lifelong sexual literacy and healthy sexuality knowledge- one more reason our work is so very critical and life affirming. it was never enough to treat defensively after the fact of diagnosis and as hans rosling so powerfully argued, it never will be.
