Congratulations to Amy Andre, Dialogues member, for the official release last week of Bisexual Health: An Introduction and Model Practices for HIV/STI Prevention Programming, which she co-authored for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute.  Check her statement out in our Discussion Forum "General Discussion - Your questions and thoughts for Dialogues members."  Download the free report .

You can listen to the KPFK Los Angeles radio interview of Amy, and selecting the “Uprising” show on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 9:01 a.m.: She is interviewed from 0:30 to 0:42 minutes in the program.

According to Amy, this report "represents the first time a national LGBT nonprofit organization has devoted resources like this to the topic of bisexual health."

Since Friday, 50 new members have joined, increasing Dialogues' membership to 220! 

Check out the "Who's Related" section of your profie to see other Dialogues users that have entered research interests identical to yours.  Add to your list of Colleagues to expand your network and foster relationships for potential collaborations.

New Feature: The Watch List.  Keep track of Discussion Forum threads and posts that are of interest to you by clicking "Add to watch list."  Any post you enter automatically gets added to your watchlist, so you can be notified when someone responds to your post! 

This week saw the launch of Dialogues!  We now have 170 members and growing.  Check out what people are talking about in our Discussion Forums.  See how colleagues are collaborating through our Working Groups feature.  Discover new Opportunities for funding.  Read what Mentorship questions have been answered, ask your own question, or volunteer to be a mentor. 

And more new features are coming soon!  2007 looks to be an exciting year for the field of sexuality.

UCSRT's Dialogues launches today!  The next few months will be an exciting time for Dialogues and the field of sexuality, with new users joining, connecting with others in the Consortium, and creating new knowledge together.  Although we are no longer in our Beta phase, the site is still young, so we will be continuously adding new features and looking for any bugs that arise, in our best effort to make this site optimally useful for you.  Enjoy!

Leading up to our March 1 world-wide release, Dialogues now boasts 6 working groups and a membership of 130 and counting.

Happy New Year, UCSRT!  It has been exciting to see the overwhelming number of people who have been joining the Consortium over the past month.  As we enter the final stages of Dialogues' development, leading up to the official launch in the latter part of February, exciting new features have been developed. 

First off, the WORKING GROUPS!  Click on the "Working Groups" tab in the menu at the top of your page, and start you own group, or join a currently existing working group.  Work collaboratively with people from coast to coast to develop projects, write and edit papers, plan conferences, exchange thoughts on a sexuality topic you're passionate about, and more!  Contact me with any questions you have about this feature.
