Call for PresentationsThe National Sexuality Resource Center (NSRC) is pleased to announce its first regional training and conference on Sexual Literacy this October at the San Francisco State University Downtown Campus.  Sexual Literacy is about promoting lifelong sexual happiness and well being in individuals, relationships, and communities.  The purpose of this two day conference is to connect students, researchers, academics, and community organizations; provide training on sexual literacy and sexuality research; and spotlight work that promotes sexual literacy through research, education, and advocacy.

The Department of Sexuality Studies at San Francisco State University invites immediate applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, area open. We seek a candidate who has demonstrated excellence in research and teaching and has demonstrated commitment to the area of sexuality studies. Areas of research and teaching emphasis include but are not limited to: sexualities and the Internet, reproductive health and rights, health disparities, disability, African-American sexualities, community-based participatory research, and lesbian studies. The interdisciplinary faculty of the Sexuality Studies department is distinguished by an emphasis on social science research. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in the social, behavioral, or health sciences.
