Abstracts are due Nov. 15 for the third annual National Housing and HIV/AIDS Research Summit to be held in Baltimore, Maryland. The National AIDS Housing Coalition (NAHC), working in collaboration with the Department of Health, Behavior and Society of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, is pleased to announce the third National Housing and HIV/AIDS Research Summit, to be held March 5th - 7th, 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland. The theme of Summit III is Examining the Evidence: The Impact of Housing on HIV Prevention and Care.

CAIR's postdoctoral research fellowship training program is a National Research Service Award (NRSA) training program that is supported by the National Institute of Mental Health. Two postdoctoral fellows are accepted annually for two-year period of training. Candidates for CAIR's postdoctoral fellowship program must receive their doctorate prior to beginning training, and individuals with postgraduate experience who now wish to focus their research in HIV prevention areas are encouraged to apply. It is anticipated that postdoctoral fellows will hold doctorates in the behavioral or social science, public health, nursing, or medical fields.

The Department of Gender Studies at Indiana University�€”Bloomington seeks a senior scholar (advanced associate or full professor) specializing in feminist work on gender/sexuality and race/racialization and ethnicity.  We are especially seeking candidates working on interdisciplinary, intersectional analyses of gender/sexuality/race/ethnicity in the context of US culture and politics, but we will consider scholars who approach these issues within a more broadly conceived diasporic framework.  Applicants will be expected to assist in the continued development of the doctorate, teach core Gender Studies graduate and undergraduate courses, and work collectively to enhance the Department.  The successful applicant...
